This story is about a little girl named Matilda who lives in Europe with her parents, who pester her to "gaze at the tele", but Matilda is far above their wildest dreams. She sneaks away to the library.....what's more ?...she finishes the children's section at the tender age of 3. Her father is a fraud....a second hand car dealer. His trick..........SAWDUST with a dash of oil to go with it and of course a high speed drilling machine. Matilda's treatement at home and school was nothing different from each other. It was totally worse infact. The only person who likes Matilda is Miss Honey. When it is "game up" for Mr.Wormwood, and his occupation ; the family flee to another country. All leave except Matilda who stays back with Miss Honey. The biggest secret is unveiled when it is revealed that Miss Trunchbull, the school's "gentlemanly" principal is a usurper of Miss Honey's property.

P.S.: This story is upto to the brim with magic. AJAY VASUDEVAN
